The American stereotype? Definitely an American stereotype (monopoly guy shithead), but there’s also broke ass honky, California dude, and cowboy goat fuckers.
It’s a big place.

Their neighbor to the north—Maine—successfully passed it, but guess which party has been trying to revoke it or stymie it at every turn?
That illustration in the video is bonkers. Looks like someone asked an AI to make a mashup of Putin and Trump. Is that what Donnie thinks he looks like?
Plus there’sa panel gap for any sized wang.
NPR/On the Media’s We Don’t Talk About Leonard gives a pretty good report of that asshole.
He’d constantly be on the phone to news max, Fox, and Oann. No need to bother with an incoherent book.
Repeal and go f🇺🇸ck yourself.

I’m not watching a video from The Hill, but none of the summaries say anything about what this posts tilts’s so-called “political repercussions” could be.
I just want to know how Sue’s gonna vote now. If she’s changed, it better be for the better.
It’s almost impossible for many small towns to have sufficient coverage on candidates running for small offices. We’re often completely in the dark about who’s running, unless they’ve been In office already and town meetings that give us a hint about their views. Most just put wishy-washy bullshit on a Facebook page with nothing else on it when they run.
I have avoided a few bad votes by finding twitter accounts of these assholes, but it’s rare in the last couple local elections.
It’s the real reason NH doesn’t want to lose the first primary. All their (remaining) local news and TV is fully funded by political ad money.
While the news has always been a for-profit industry, Citizens United turned election years into billion dollar windfalls for news outfits.
I’m pretty sure that’s why USA Today owns almost all the local papers in my state. They can float the payrolls between election years, or cut a bunch of local reporters and send their own around following primaries in the state with the most campaign money each week.
If you stand there telling people to go kill those guys, then you will be arrested and won’t be protected by the first amendment.
And the second amendment, until very recently (Heller 2008) and depending on which fucking commas you want to recognize, started with “A well regulated Militia (capitalized)” and even then the Supreme court said there can be exceptions to personal possession. Though the current joke of a court would probably put their dicks in that decision as well now.
I’m pretty sure the downvotes missed your point completely.
Jeff Davis wasn’t tried for treason because he had to be technically in another country once the states seceded. This was because the military occupation, and readmittance of confederate states to the union was relying on them being a foreign occupied territory. Whether that was really necessary in the case of a civil war could be argued, but the congress seemed intent on operating within existing laws at the time, rather than making new specific ones with the remaining union members.
I think that the foreign lands policy should have meant that they could have a said fuck em and ratify constitutional amendments without the confederate states.
Call me crazy, but maybe erring on the side of caution makes sense when we’re talking about the right to own tools designed to kill things.
The problem all the other little fish that see the inconsequential punishments, but can still royally fuck up elections even just as poorly coordinated little fish.
But he (and the GOP as a whole) also has deep hate for people of color and the Muslim population in particular. Doing anything that helps that party continue controlling our lives of face eating leopard level stupid.
You’re leaving out the wanna be criminals who are hoping to get in on the grift. See: the it and groundskeeping staff who helped him hide classified docs.
A lot of citizens coming through footage have been helpful in identifying the seditionists. We need to demand the raw footage and dox the rest of the criminals.
One point I’ve brought up successfully with a Trumpy acquaintance has been how big Agri business relies so much on illegal workers (throw child labor in there too when they talk about pedos). I ask him why if politicians complain so much, why didn’t they really do anything to stop the demand for undocumented workers when they had the power? Then ask him if he likes cheap fruit and chicken, and how Tyson and Dole would have to double or triple the prices of it all if they paid a fair wage.
Unfortunately, He usually shuts up and says Hunter probably cashed in on it too or some other bullshit, but I can see some gears grinding over when it hits him at first.
