Wtf? They honestly shouldn’t be able to call a software update a “recall.” They’re literally two different things. Is this just a Tesla thing, or is this some sort of new trend?
They always say “it’s just a few bad apples” and conveniently forget the point of the analogy is that the bad apples spoil the whole bunch. So until the little piggies remove ALL of the bad apples, ACAB is 100% correct.
Air taxis are sometimes helicopters or quadcopters, and while they aren’t parking in parking lots for cars, but could still end up landing in what equates to a parking space. In New York City, they are already presenting plans to expand an air taxi hub on a pier in lower Manhattan to transport people and goods to and from the city, and it looks like a bunch of parking spaces with a logistics facility attached.
Agreed 100%, but this would be under the FTC’s purview, and we don’t directly vote for them, so it’s a bit more complicated than simply “vote.”
I’m in the same boat with my laser printer that I bought in 2014, but I still think we need new laws prohibiting predatory practices. Similarly, I’m savvy enough to successfully avoid scam calls, but that doesn’t mean I don’t think we need more regulation and harsher punishments for those people making scam phone calls.
Modern civilized society shouldn’t require everyone to be aware of all the new technological advancements that can hurt them. Our govt should be responsible enough to effectively legislate and punish the offenders, and we should not resort to victim blaming in the absence of such legislation.
I figured insuring him would be expensive, but it’s more the magnitude of his premiums that shocked me.
Same here. I did a little googling and can’t find any corroborating evidence, but I also learned that Hammond’s Grand Tour insurance premiums are now more expensive than Top Gear’s budgets were for entire specials.
Were Richard Hammond’s many crashes a result of cost skimping? If so, I had no idea. Could you elaborate?
What a horribly naive and flawed perspective.
“If people aren’t smart enough to avoid murderers and not get murdered, I can’t help them, and it ain’t the government’s business to stop murders.”
The time for regulating these evil business practices out of existence is now. It’s clear they won’t do the right thing out of moral obligation, so they need to be made an example.

So then you realize your statement is meaningless because many of those teachers that 100% take the burden on themselves and fill the gaps out of their own pocketbook still wash out after some time.
And even if they don’t, the few that remain do not deserve the load that society has already saddled them with, and they certainly shouldn’t be used as the example of how real teachers will take on any new hardship for the children no matter the load.
I’m sure there are some teachers that will work for free, but don’t tell the republicans because they’d try to staff public schools entirely with volunteers.
I’ve met many, and in 20+ years of knowing them, I know many more ex-teachers than those still teaching because our education system does not value their work and actively makes it incredibly hard for them.
There’s a big difference between capitol police and federal agents, and capitol police wear blue.
The action button is an iPhone 15 thing, and I have one, which is why I am asking how I can set the action button to open ChatGPT.
By “physical button,” are you referring to the action button? Could you share how you managed to accomplish this?
It seems you might have missed their sarcasm.
