I think that really depends where you are. If you’re in the US, sure. The US is far behind on infrastructure. If you’re in Europe, it’s much more viable. They have a lot more infrastructure (including much better public transportation) and EVs are actually viable as a replacement.
It seems like Europe is taking the role California is often taking in the US. Especially on consumer protection and tech regulation. It’s big enough to force everyone else in the same direction.
Companies love subscriptions, customers hate subscriptions. Subscriptions it is.
This is the most American thing I’ve read in a long time. I lived for decades in several European countries, and this description just seems like a different planet.
That is one of the things I really like about the rise of streaming services. You can actually pay to avoid ads, which means that, so far, my kids have basically had a childhood free of TV commercials.

I’ve only heard about “alternative facts” from one side of the aisle, though.
We all need to do what we can, even when it’s just little things like buying less plastic or considering sustainable groceries.
Right now, the US is one of the bigger culprits in the world, and a great place to start is to vote for people who actually want to do something for our planet.
So, what you’re saying is that people are selfish douchebags who care only about their own pocketbook? Sounds about right.
Your lower energy bill is just one side of it. The true win is for our planet.

RFK will take more from Trump, not Biden.
“Trump’s lead widened to a 5-point advantage when respondents were given an option to vote for Kennedy.”
However:
“In the seven states where the election was closest in 2020 – Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina and Michigan – Biden had a 4-point lead among Americans who said they were sure to vote.”
the law should be the same for all, not at the interpretation of whichever judge you get.
Welcome to the US of A. Happens literally all the time. Hence the big fight over control of the Supreme Court.
Well, then they have to rush out to buy a new, fancy router for the basement to support their newest thing. And round and round we go…
Important to understand that there’s also a form of civil war going on within the Church in the US between the more liberal churches, which this pastor represents, and the conservative, evangelical churches, which Mike Johnson represents.
“It is now time for Republican primary voters to decide who will be our next
Presidentpreferred dictator and candidates are free to use any forum or format to communicate to voters as they see fit,” the committee said.
FTFY
The US is extremely far behind the rest of the developed world and even much of the developing world at this point. It will take decades to catch up, let alone become a leader.

They’ll hear it. And we all know what that means. But I’m still going to enjoy it while it lasts.
