I guess but it seems like only 3-4 of them have gotten sentences higher than what you’d get for having a joint in Mississippi.

I’m sure some truck drivers are very good at it, if they have to drive large trailers often for instance. But a lot of the time their giant trucks can’t even fit into a parking spot without taking up more than one space.
It’s mostly urban though. 7 million isn’t that small and it shouldn’t affect something expressed as a rate anyway.
They’re impractical in US town centers too. Drivers of these often live in suburban and rural areas and act like “omg city = CRIME and those people”, and if they come into the city, get frustrated because their giant POS vehicles are difficult to park as they’re terrible at maneuvering (drivers and the truck) and don’t fit in many parking spaces.

Businesses are naturally anticompetitive. It may or may not violate antitrust law. The two main categories are collusion with competitors to prevent new competition, or if they seek to gain or maintain a monopoly via shady methods (just a monopoly itself isn’t illegal though). I doubt if Apple conspired with Google here and it would be a stretch to say they have a monopoly, so it seems like a pointless case to me.
Okay, good. I’d like to stay isolated from Meta’s users.
Precisely for this reason?
Voter suppression and other unequal access to voting make a big difference. For instance, the “one drop off box per county” bs they schemed up, inadequate in-person facilities in urban areas leading to long lines, and how people don’t get voting day off work. Not to mention the fascist chuds planning to stand around with guns at voting facilities to “monitor”.
They used to claim they were the vast majority, silent majority, and so on, but it seems like they changed their tune on that and now it’s “we don’t need a majority! We’re a constitutional republic”
His MAGAlings must be shocked that he said he’d consult Bill Gates. Of course, cognitive dissonance is like water off a duck’s back to them, so that won’t last long.
I can only imagine where the country would be if we reformed the Electoral College and the Senate. It’s absurd to be giving 1 million people in Hickle Dickle the same votes as 30,000,000 in another state. Or even worse, in the EC people in small states get 3-4 times the voting power as citizens of some larger states.
Yeah, that’s always the problem. Sometimes it’s just a lack of motivation. Also don’t discount voter suppression, like how voting day still is not a holiday and there’s a significant lack of facilities in urban areas compared to suburban and rural regions. Nobody should have to wait in line for 5 hours (complete with BS like ‘giving them water is a crime’) to vote.
It’s a ridiculous process to get a work visa even for skilled and educated people with money. I had a gf who had a PhD in material science with a wealthy family. She was working at a National Lab and was worried if she didn’t get a permanent position there, she’d be scrambling to find a job that would give her an extension or she’d have to move back to Europe.
‘We’ didn’t elect him. A horde of deluded, ignorant douchebags in just the right states did.
DeSantis apparently didn’t understand that wealthy republicans prefer to have illegal immigrants working for them and the anti-immigrant thing is just pandering and marginalization. When he tried to enforce labor laws in Florida by the book it was similarly unpopular.
That’s easy… die Projektion
It’s been investigated and found to be true at various times by intelligence agencies and social media companies. Even worse would be to pretend that doesn’t happen.
There is seriously no end to the insane bullshit people like this think of. I couldn’t have thought of this if I tried spending hours thinking of the most ridiculously dumb theory possible.
Stewart Rhodes got 18 years out of a max of 20. Enrique Tarrio received 22 years.
