It did come off as being a middle finger to those who idolize popular media characters whose entire point is a warning not to idolize them, so that part was definetly achieved. It didn’t manage to do it while also being a great film. Mission failed successfully

Idunno, the show would have been still terrible even with original triology casting and original triology would’ve been still great.

Hobbits had all white casting and nobody liked it. The few people complaining about inclusivity is not enough to make the entire show to be recieved poorly, like we see time and time again on great shows and movies with inclusive casts starting like from forever ago.

Hell even mediocre at best shows do well with inclusive casting like that garbage witcher did, clearly showing inclusivity is mostly irrelevant.

Dune 3, it has proven to be the most unique and revolutionary big sci fi films so far so im waiting for that.

I’m quite glad. Its become a solid game that manages to not feel like a hollow collectathon despite ubisofts best efforts to make people like it. The music is banger, the visuals are haunting, gameplay can get tailored to your own perticular liking of batshit crazy thanks to build and perk system that is the best by far since payday 2 and it is the one game where I walk as much as possible. If only metro system was better and didn’t take away control from player and rebinding controls wasn’t hitmans experience turned up to 11.

I value the same things and after spending a few days troubleshooting mh worlds and rummaging through internet forums, cmd line, reg edit i remembered my deck plays it fine and I installed fedora.

My os now uses 1gb of ram, i didn’t need a day to find drivers for all my weird hardware as it all just worked, mh world runs without crashing, old weird games started working flawless, my graphics tablet doesn’t want me to manually launch drivers to work

Same experience here. People waiting for steamos don’t know most good distros work how they think steamos is gonna. Games with kernel level anti cheat that are worth playing are few and far between. And fuck their communities for not rioting when their fellow members get removed from the game for no reason.
