How corrupt is Joe Biden? The guy’s famous for being in the Senate for 30 years and never getting rich. Is he squeaky clean? I don’t know, but characterizing the situation as “both sides are corrupt” is close to disinformation.

These days they are being taught that “meek” is a synonym for “strength”. They’ve been twisted around so much they could read Jesus’s words and take the exact opposite meaning.

You’re right. People who come to the US are sometimes shocked to learn you can say mean things about the President and nobody cares.

Not everybody thinks that way. Nixon, Trump, and any number of wannabe tyrants have sought revenge on a number of people who wouldn’t put up with their crap.

Are we at the “anyone who doesn’t vote for me is gay” stage?

The only way hard divorce “makes sense” is if women aren’t allowed to be independent from their husbands, otherwise she can just leave without getting a divorce.

The whole “divorce is too easy” line is one edge of the attack on women’s rights.

At this point I wonder who she’d hurt more as independent.
