Unfortunately I think we’ve been living in it for awhile already. All you need to do is say a thing with a big enough platform and the people decide if they want to believe it or not. They don’t care if it’s factual, they just care who’s saying it.

It’s a popular issue being discussed at the top of my feed, of course I have opinions related to it. There aren’t a ton of articles with discussion about other Arab ethnostates running open air prisons on Lemmy, if your feed has some I’d love to hear some suggestions.

You’re trying really hard to paint this as an antisemitic thing when it really just comes down to them being weird as fuck. No country in the world operates in the way they do with as much political power and influence as they do. I don’t even think that’s much of a stretch to say, even Israeli officials confirm it. It’s ultimately a human rights issue, I’m not calling for the destruction of Israel, I’m asking you to not destroy the people within Israel.

Maybe Dems shouldn’t have tried to shoehorn Israel funding into that bill if they really gave a shit about Ukraine. Yes we all know Republicans are awful, I’m getting pretty tired of hearing how Dems are “the good guys”.

I don’t think a religious ethnostate is a good thing. I also don’t think running an open air prison inside your ethnostate is a good thing.

Dems trying to conflate the problems of Ukraine with the problems of Israel is a joke. They are not the same, and to even pretend they are is disingenuous and downright ignorant.

It’s so wild to me that the Trump experiment has gone on as long as it has. He’s broken politics in this country. The GOP at least will never be the same. We let a rich yuppie real estate guy from New York city completely monopolize political power. As much as I can’t stand the guy, I have to accept that almost half the country sees something else entirely. He speaks to something that people are desperate for in this country, Democrats would do well to figure out why that is instead of dismissing this guy like they have done.
