Oh, dang. It being an article about someone leaving the state to get an abortion, I thought that’s what this person was saying their girlfriend also had to sort of do, avoiding Texas in the process.
But it could also just be a road trip. 😅
Just a shiny male toy…

What’s confusing you? The wishing you both good luck part or the… Try to avoid needing to travel for an abortion part?
Good luck to you both, stay safe and maybe get a vasectomy? Sure sucks less than a fat oinker bothering your girlfriend on a necessary medical trip.
E: lots of downvotes. Troubled about the vasectomy suggestion, or that I mistakenly thought the dude’s gf had to travel for an abortion? 😂
Well I do have GCM, it’s how all my other apps are able to work, even pokemon etc.
I think it’s purely that beeper is relying on Google authenicating that I paid for the app. Could there be a cracked apk? Probably, but I’m not willing to risk using that.
Don’t forget that you’re toting essentially two cars in a single platform, both gas and ev. The big advantage EVs and hybrids have is regeneration, a good chunk of the energy normally lost as ambient heat in brake pads gets pumped back into the batteries.
But there’s all the added weight and complexity accompanying that. The Prius appears quite reliable, so far. But I’d rather just use my bicycle or motorcycle.
Ugh. The trite, baseless elitism. I’m an engineer and I disagree with your take.
“Bad ev battery” how? Dead cell? Too many unbalanced cells? How many cycles?
Nope, all moronic attempts at making a fairly robust assembly look shaky and expensive. Shame on you colonSloth.
We engineers always use a factor of safety in our design work, so your talk about inverters (which you obviously don’t understand), motors (also don’t understand it’s reliability)… You’re basically listing a parts list for the mach-e from most to least expensive parts.
If/when a battery assembly wears out to needing replacement, most of everything else should still be working fine. You may need to replace the fluid pump, brakes, maybe even a wheel bearing. Throwing words in like “control modules” as though they fail frequently is as big a joke as you are.
Answer this, knucklehead: when you visit a factory, with many many pumps and moving machinery, operating 24/7 365, are they using a combustion engine as the prime mover for all this equipment, where reliability is Paramount?
No, cole, that is horseshit and you know it. Coolant contamination is a result of extremes in temperature, same with oil breakdown. Because EVs are not heat engines, whose efficiency directly correlates to the Carnot cycle’s rules, they are inherently more efficient. Stop spreading misinformation and pretending to be an engineer.
People don’t have to buy an EV, it is their option. It has much lower TCO, and your point about “better hope the inverter doesn’t go out…”, makes me wonder if you know what exactly goes wrong with them by way of anguish knowing how they work.
At any stage in history, the introduction of a new technology tends to be initially inefficient. Time resolves this kind of thing, see the much more energy efficient processor in the phone you spout drivel from vs an older model. Same lithium polymer batteries, not necessarily the same capacity, but much more advanced switching and software techniques to make the energy go much farther.
Get educated before you go sucking off the oil industry under the hilariously thin guise of “EVs aren’t ready yet!”.
We all saw how well self-compliance worked for the 737 Max…
Looks like both. Beeper mini (and a lot of other apps) ask the play store if the user paid for the app, which is a heavily pretexts part of goggles services… so using non-Google services means I can’t sign into beeper mini at all. They can’t prove I paid for it, especially since I don’t have a Google account at all.
It’s cool silly, at least I’m able to write cogent statements.
Original statement was
It’s not the color of the bubble. It’s the downgraded chat experience: grainy pictures, pixelated videos, and no E2EE.
Our kid was at a sleepover, recently. We got a video of all the kids playing together, but because it wasn’t iPhone to iPhone the video was a low resolution pixelated mess.
All you said was a half-coherent statement about sending a link instead, to which I attempted to respond. Now you can’t handle getting called out for having spaghetti for neural pathways, and here we are. Let me know if I need to buy you some crayons for further explanation.
Good luck in life, looks like you’ll need it 🤭
Might be the only thing he’s been right about, but poor writing skills make his statement… let’s say, ambiguous.
CalyxOS, which uses microG.
I mean you just missed your chance at clarifying said point in the very comment I’m about to respond to.
Try again?
Might be good for business owners, having a single inbox.
Which is more convenient?
And this is 2023, why shouldn’t I be able to just send a video straight to another person if they’re the only one seeing it?
I don’t support big grey making that decision for me
Before anyone tries, Beeper mini on the play store won’t function without official Google play services. I emailed support to ask if there was another way I could pay for the subscription, succinctly, “no plans for that”.
Bummer.
Lol I thought the same thing on first read. Then again “micro thin” sounds redundant…
Bakersfield too, if you want to find life hanging on a bit better than some of the inland counties. California has a lot of strange feelings if you take the time to look in the right corners.
This state has a lot more to it than TV and movies let on. Don’t just drive it, check it out on motorcycle or bicycle too.
100%, fuck this shitbag motherfucker. Bloomberg competently accelerated it.
