It’s the paradox of tolerance. To safeguard a tolerant society, you have to be intolerant when it comes to the intolerant.
I read the Illuminatus trilogy when I was 23 (yeah I know) and for about 50 pages I almost believed it. Then I read the rest of the book and quickly realized it was satire (the golden submarine and Nazi Zombies are pretty big clues).
And this, children, is why we don’t give deeply personal data to companies.

Time travel can only create branching timelines by changing the past without creating a paradox. So the time travellers who killed Hitler may have succeeded, just not in this timeline (if this timeline is even one where time travel will be invented one day).
I mean, the only book he’s known to possess is one with Hitler’s speeches.
