I think it stops being heartbreaking for the general public when you’re like 85+. That’s called a good run.
The title is ambiguous in this sense, but it’s likely referring to being heartbreaking to the family, not so much the general public.
So wait, the title implies that the family shared with him some heartbreaking news, causing him to die at age 92… did they say what the news was?
